Chicken and Broccoli

So, in an effort to be more healthy and eventually move into the weight loss area of old age, I decided to modify my food intake.  I am using the 21 day fix meal plans to transition into eating healthier foods.  Tonight’s dinner was yum.

  • 1.5 lb chicken cut into bite size pieces
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 Tbs olive oil
  • 4-6 cups broccoli
  • 12 oz mushrooms (I leave them out – I dislike them)


  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tsp ginger powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder


1. Toss chicken pieces in flour to coat

2. Heat oil and add chicken

3. Mix sauce ingredients in a small bowl

4. Once chicken is cooked through, add broccoli and sauce

5. Cook for 5 more minutes or until broccoli is at desired tenderness
